A little background…
Hi, I’m Charlene.
For a long time, I thought there was something wrong with me…too emotional, too intense, too sensitive, too much in my head and somehow never enough in the ways the world seemed to want.
Then I learned about ADHD and autism in women.
And suddenly, the story changed.
the restlessness.
the deep thinking.
the pattern-spotting.
the emotional depth.
the need for movement, texture, meaning, honesty.
All made sense.
It had all been there from the beginning…just misunderstood. True to my hyperfocus nature, I devoured everything I could about our neurodivergent minds that led me to
I co-founded ADHD Services clinic with a view to make ADHD/Autism diagnostic assessments more accessible and to provide an easy pathway to solutions that make a differences in our daily lives.
This journey has given me the chance to understand our wiring deeply…neurologically, biologically and evolutionarily, also emotionally and somatically.
Not just through clinical research, but through lived experience, attachment patterns, nervous system responses and the cultural pressures that shape how we mask and move through the world.
Now I help others understand their inner world too, how:
the masking that becomes second nature
the burnout that arrives without warning
the grief of self-abandonment
and the slow, tender process of coming back home to yourself.
This space is for:
the thinkers, the feelers, the ones who hold whole worlds inside.
the people who have coped quietly for far too long.
the people who are tired of acting and ready to exhale.
Here, we don’t talk about “fixing” you…as there’s nothing to fix. We talk about remembering yourself and rebuilding trust with your own mind and nervous system.
Making room for your real way of being.
You’re not too much.
You were just never meant to live small.
